Probate Solicitor - PQE - Estates - UHNW Clients

Overview

A prestigious Legal 500 firm is looking for a private client solicitor in Leeds City Centre, ideally 5+ PQE. This role focuses on probate and estate administration, offering exposure to a wide range of matters from straightforward estates to complex, high-value cases involving agricultural, business, and cross-border assets.

• Manage the full estate administration process: meeting clients and personal representatives, gathering and verifying asset information, and preparing applications for grants of representation.
• Draft inheritance tax accounts and produce detailed estate accounts.
• Advise on inheritance tax liabilities and post-death tax planning (including deeds of variation and disclaimer).
• Support clients through every stage of the probate process with empathy and technical precision.
• Contribute to a high-quality private client team with exposure to outstanding work.

• Private client solicitor with ideally 5+ PQE.
• Experience in probate and estate administration, including cross-border assets and complex estates.
