Employment Law Senior Associate

This role is for an Employment Senior Associate who wants proper responsibility, high-quality work, and a team that trusts you to get on with it.

A respected national firm with a strong UK footprint is growing its Employment offering in Leeds and is looking for an experienced Senior Associate to be part of that journey. The team sits within a wider national platform, giving you the depth of work you would expect, without losing the feel of a close-knit, collaborative office.

You’ll be advising a varied and interesting client base across sectors including commercial organisations, healthcare, education, and public bodies. The work is genuinely broad, with a strong balance between advisory and contentious matters.

• Advise on a wide range of employment law issues
• Run Employment Tribunal matters with a high level of autonomy
• Work closely with senior lawyers on complex and strategic issues
• Deliver training and contribute to business development in a way that feels natural, not forced
• Collaborate with colleagues across offices as part of a national Employment team

This role would suit a Senior Associate who is confident in their technical ability and ready to play a visible role within the team.

• Solid experience in employment law, both advisory and contentious
• Strong drafting, communication, and client-handling skills
• The ability to manage your own matters while contributing to team goals
• A proactive, collegiate approach

Experience supporting corporate transactions, advising large employers, or advocacy exposure would be welcomed but is not essential.
