Job Title: Employment Solicitor (3 to 5 years PQE)

Salary: £60,000 to £78,000 per annum

Location: Leeds City Centre (Hybrid Working)

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Overview:

Our client is an award-winning law firm based in Leeds, widely recognised for its strong workplace culture and high-quality legal services. The firm continues to grow and, as a result, is looking to expand its Employment team with the appointment of an experienced Employment Solicitor.

This is an excellent opportunity for an employment lawyer with 3-5 years' PQE who is keen to take on high-quality work, build strong client relationships and play a visible role within a growing and collaborative team.

Position:

The successful candidate will handle a varied employment law caseload, covering both contentious and non-contentious matters. You will advise a broad client base, including senior individuals, business owners and wider teams within organisations, providing clear, commercial and practical employment law advice.

The role will involve advising on new and existing employment law claims, reviewing contracts, evidence, statements and legal documentation, and considering relevant legislation and potential counter-arguments. You will conduct client consultations, vet cases, process confidential employer information and prepare matters through to resolution.

You will also prepare cases for tribunal and litigation, brief counsel as required, and provide expert HR-related advice. Regular client interaction is a key part of the role, requiring strong communication skills and a confident, professional approach.
