Clinical Negligence - Associate / Solicitor – Leeds – Up to £70,000

Due to the development and expansion of the firm’s Clinical Negligence department, it is now seeking to appoint an experienced Associate / Solicitor to work alongside its existing team dealing with a range of cases across all aspects of defendant clinical negligence.

The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical negligence, personal injury or civil litigation. The firm is seeking a motivated, technically strong Associate / Solicitor with ambition, who can develop relationships and provide an exceptional level of service to its clients.

The role will include handling a caseload of defendant clinical negligence work acting for a variety of clients, including NHS Resolution as well as handling inquests, advising on regulatory matters, public law issues, judicial reviews, mental health issues and clinical risk management.

• A Qualified Solicitor with experience in Clinical Negligence, Personal injury, civil litigation or insurance law is essential
• Strong technical and organisation skills
• A pragmatic and methodical approach to handling a variety of Clinical Negligence claims
• An ability to adopt a commercial perspective to legal issues
• Be highly client focused
• Team orientated with a willingness to mentor, coach and supervise less experienced members

• Competitive basic salary of up to £70,000 depending on experience
