We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Digital Product Analyst – upto 12 months secondment.
You’ll be joining the first direct
Digital team to help deliver an outstanding service for first direct across digital channels. You’ll contribute to key deliveries and enhancements to our digital channels working closely with Digital Product Managers, and to support our people in delivering amazing customer service across all channels.

Responsibilities- Contributing to analysis for our key digital product journeys as part of the 2026 fd investments (such as the Digital Pillar for Contact Centre Automation Programme, Credit Card Servicing journeys, Existing customer lending).
- Writing and refining High Level requirements and user stories.
- Supporting product development for our Digital Product Managers, helping to ensure our projects are delivered to plan and documented to a minimum standard.
- Contributing to feature enhancement and backlog maintenance to maximize value gained when improving our journeys.
- Ensuring project risks, issues and dependencies are flagged in a timely manner.
- Remain up to date on trends and best practices for Digital and emerging technologies.
- Good analytical skills, research methodologies.
- Efficient communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good influencing, analytical and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of fd, the fd operation and the staff channel systems that are utilised by agents and supervisors’ day to day is desirable. Technically aware.
- Digitally savvy, understanding the role of mobile for the fd proposition targeting future mass affluent customers and ability to reflect our brand values across our digital propositions.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlogs, roadmaps, and prioritization techniques.
- The ability to deconstruct and solve problems and identify areas where enhancements can be made across all fd channels.
