Oracle DBA Specialist - SC Clearance
6‑Month Contract | Leeds | Inside IR35 | SC Clearance Required
My Client, a leading global telecoms company is looking for an experienced Oracle DBA Specialist to support and optimise high‑availability Oracle database environments. You'll play a key role in maintaining stability, performance, and security across mission‑critical systems while supporting ongoing change and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and optimize Oracle Database 12c environments.
- Perform SQL tuning, AWR/ASH analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
- Manage RMAN backup, recovery, patching, and upgrades.
- Support live service incidents and deliver RCA.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory standards.
- Strong Oracle DBA experience in complex, mission‑critical environments.
- Expertise in SQL optimization and performance tuning.
- Solid Linux (Oracle Linux/RHEL) skills.
- Proven experience with RMAN, patching, and upgrades.
- Active SC clearance is essential.
