Our customer is seeking a Principal D365 & Power Platform Architect to provide strategic and technical leadership across their Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform and Intelligent Automation estate.

As the organisation's senior authority for these platforms, you will define and own the strategic roadmap for CRM, low-code solutions and AI-enabled automation. You will ensure solutions are secure, scalable and aligned to wider organisational technology goals, while remaining hands-on in complex design and engineering activities.

This is a pivotal role within a greenfield and evolving environment, offering the opportunity to establish best practice, embed modern architectural and governance standards, and accelerate adoption of automation and AI-driven capabilities.

You will lead a specialist engineering function, set platform-wide standards, oversee solution architecture and act as the senior subject matter expert for D365 and Power Platform. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will translate business needs into robust, process-driven technical solutions that drive transformation and operational efficiency.

• Expert-level Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform development (Dataverse, PCF Controls, Type Script/JavaScript, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Automate)
• Strong solution architecture and technical design capability
• Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring developers
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate business requirements into scalable solutions
• Experience delivering in both Agile and Waterfall environments
• Strong governance, change delivery and workload planning experience

• Microsoft certifications (D365/Power Platform)
• Vendor and partner management experience
• Financial services sector knowledge
• Experience applying AI and automation technologies within Microsoft ecosystems
