Project Manager - IT Infrastructure, Data Center and Cloud
Scotland (Lanarkshire / Central Belt - based Office)
Exciting, top-level, leading IT Infrastructure, Data Centre, and Cloud Solutions provider is looking for a Project Manager to lead and coordinate key work streams across the technology transformation programme.
Role PurposeThe Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of specific projects within a larger programme, working closely with the Programme Director, technical leads, clients, and stakeholders. This role requires a delivery-focused individual with strong communication, planning, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities- Own the delivery of individual projects within the wider programme, ensuring successful execution against agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop detailed project plans, RAID logs, and delivery milestones.
- Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and third parties to ensure seamless execution of project tasks.
- Manage day-to-day project operations including status reporting, change control, issue resolution, and escalation.
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders, maintaining transparency on progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Support procurement and contract activities, including vendor onboarding and service integration.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and security standards across all project work.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in delivery processes and tools.
- 5+ years' experience in project management roles, preferably in infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise IT environments.
- Track record of delivering complex technology projects.
- Experience working within programme structures and collaborating with senior leadership.
- Strong understanding of project controls, governance, and documentation standards.
- Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
- Highly organised with attention to detail and strong planning discipline.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under pressure.
- Proficiency with project management tools
- PRINCE2, Agile
PM, or PMP certification. - Familiarity with delivery frameworks.
- Understanding of ISO
27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, or other compliance frameworks.
