Technical Delivery Manager

Job Purpose- Manage the nationwide team responsible for the deployment and support of all classroom, onsite and cloud based training events.
- Evaluate plans and drive the evolution of technologies used to support learning and lab environments across all delivery locations, including the cloud.
- Drive the evolution of systems infrastructure used to support the delivery of content/course images to classrooms, onsite locations and the cloud.
- Manage the technical implementation of delivery centre projects including the opening of new training centres, existing centre moves and change projects.
- Work with IT infrastructure and operational teams to ensure that IT, delivery and operational elements are aligned to provide a seamless service.
- Work with the instructor community and other business stakeholders to support the business need for technology in the classroom environment.
- Pilot new technologies and evaluate the success of solutions.
- Implement and support new technology solutions.
- Leadership and management of the course deployment and support team.
- Oversee all elements of the classroom, onsite (customer site) and virtual learning technology stack.
- Technical implementation of delivery centre projects including new centres, moves and change projects.
- Ensure classroom, onsite and virtual functionality aligns with business and customer needs.
- Evaluate and develop technology to enhance learning capability.
- Ensure continuous improvement in customer experience of delivery technology change.
- Experience in the training and education sector.
- Experience managing a technical team such as IT Support, Systems or infrastructure.
- Experience with technologies that support learning within physical and virtual classroom environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing technology and/or business change projects.
- Experience working across cross‑functional teams (e.g., IT, Operations and product teams).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good understanding of business processes.
- Experience working to tight timelines.
- Strong technology‑oriented knowledge.
