DevOps Consultant

Duration: 6 months (expected start: 23 March 2026)

Seeking an experienced Dev Ops professional to support digital and cloud transformation projects within the public sector. The role involves resolving infrastructure and service incidents, preventing recurrence through automation and service improvements, and driving efficiency across development and operations teams.

• Design, build, and manage automated infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation.
• Implement and maintain containerisation and orchestration solutions with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deliver and optimise cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including performance, security, and scalability.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Git Hub Actions.
• Embed security throughout the development lifecycle (Dev Sec Ops ) using tools such as Sonar Qube, Snyk, or similar.
• Support continuous integration, monitoring, and automation to improve system reliability and uptime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents, improve build quality, and enhance service delivery.

• 5+ years’ experience in Dev Ops, cloud engineering, or systems automation.
• Strong knowledge of IaC, CI/CD, and container orchestration.
• Proven experience across one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Practical understanding of monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Understanding of Dev Sec Ops  principles and secure deployment practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
• Capable of leading best practice adoption and mentoring teams in modern Dev Ops approaches.
