  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies that could enhance enterprise resilience.
  • Build positive relationships with engineering teams to support the design and delivery of capability.
  • Guide senior business collaborators on the significance of resilience.
  • Assist in establishing required operating models to achieve resilience outcomes, proving resilience levels across critical services.

  • Proficiency in modern cloud-based architectures and achieving resilience through composable architecture techniques such as microservices, APIs, event streams, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with modern AI‑Ops and observability capabilities.
  • Knowledge of traditional datacenter-hosted architectures, including complex enterprise infrastructure such as storage, backup, and middleware technologies.
  • Expertise in disaster recovery strategies and assurance.
  • Aware of emerging technologies and how they could be maximised for resilience.
  • Knowledge of enterprise service management and operational tooling/methodologies such as SRE.
  • Proven experience engaging across organisations at a senior level.

And any experience of these would be really useful:

  • Technical experience within financial services organizations.
  • Good understanding of Operational Resilience and critical third‑party regulation.
  • Experience in data management, specifically ensuring data integrity and availability.
