Senior Product Manager - Developer Foundations

We are seeking a proactive and driven Product Manager to join the Developer Foundations team s role focuses on building products and tooling to improve software engineering standards and the developer experience, enabling fast and confident delivery for our clients. You will identify pressing problems aligned with company goals and work with experienced engineers on platform-wide initiatives.

The domain for which the team is responsible includes deployment pipelines, application architecture, internal tooling, documentation, testing, security and training. This is a high-impact role aimed at improving the internal developer experience and helping the platform scale.

What you'll do

• Work closely with technical stakeholders across the business and conduct user research to define product strategy that aligns with objectives and evolving needs across markets
• Identify and own metrics to measure success and communicate the value of your team's delivery to the broader company
• Collaborate with the development team to shape the high-level roadmap and prioritise feature development across the platform
• Enable delivery of the roadmap by maintaining clarity on prioritisation and ensuring implementation has the greatest impact for users
• Coordinate across product teams to manage dependencies and drive cross-team collaboration to deliver outcomes
• Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Continue to embed product practice across Developer Foundations and the broader Platform teams

What you'll need

• Ability to recognise what needs to be done (and what doesn't) based on team goals and strategic direction
• Basic understanding of technical concepts such as deployment pipelines, testing methodologies and databases
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and to harness ideas from across Kraken Technologies
• Experience in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up is a plus
• Curiosity and a willingness to roll up your sleeves
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage people with varying levels of technical knowledge

Nice to have

• Experience in building internal-facing tooling
• Knowledge of the energy industry, UK or global
