TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGER – Leeds – £43,000-£45,000 + Car + Benefits
A leading packaging manufacturing business is seeking a Technical Account Manager to join its UK operation. With over a century of expertise, the business partners with globally recognised brands, delivering high-quality, sustainable packaging products to the food and drink/beverage industry.
Sustainability sits at the heart of the organisation. As a producer of fully recyclable packaging materials, the company operates within a forward-thinking, environmentally responsible sector that continues to grow in importance worldwide.
This is a customer-facing role responsible for managing and delivering the technical service offering across a portfolio of accounts.
Responsibilities- Manage technical service delivery across a portfolio of customer accounts
- Build proactive, long-term customer relationships
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance product and packaging performance
- Respond to and resolve technical queries effectively and efficiently
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to meet customer requirements
- Travel as required to support customer and business needs
- We are looking for a motivated, customer-centric professional who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Experience in account management within a technical or manufacturing setting
- The ability to identify product or process improvement opportunities
- A technical background (experience within packaging, or manufacturing is advantageous but not essential — full training will be provided)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence in decision-making and handling challenging situations
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
