As our Communications Manager – Technology & Product, you’ll play a vital role in shaping how we tell that story. You’ll help bring DAZN’s innovation, product vision, and delivery excellence to life through impactful, digital‑first communications that inform, inspire, and connect teams across the business.
The RoleThe Communication Business Partner to the CTO is responsible for translating the vision, strategy, and progress of Product and Tech to multiple internal and external audiences. This is both a strategic and tactical execution communication role and will work in close alignment and coordination with the wider DAZN communication team. The role holder will attend key meetings to ensure their full understanding and alignment with the Product & Tech organisation, including Product, Technology, Production, and Customer Service.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Be entrenched in the Product & Tech team to grasp what is going on and who is who in the team
- Within 90 days, develop a structured communication plan and deliver / ensure delivery of effective communications to agreed audiences, including:
- Product & Tech vision, strategy, priorities, opportunities, and challenges
- CTO profile:
Product & Tech Townhalls, email updates, Linked In posts - Visibility and progress on the priorities and Product roadmap
- A monthly Product & Tech newsletter
- A Product & Tech blog/thought leadership articles
- Delivery notifications
- Incident management updates
- PR about new products and features
- DAZN’s AI journey
- Build and foster close relationships across the Product & Tech org and with key DAZN functions to ensure all stories are uncovered
- Strategic communication advice to CTO and Product & Tech leaders to support their success
- Work closely with the wider communication teams (Group and in-market) to ensure the Product & Tech story is seen as central to DAZN’s narrative and success
- Measure the impact of communications on all audiences and take insight‑driven action to continually improve the effectiveness of Product & Tech communications
- Proven track record of strategic development and hands‑on delivery of internal and external communications for a technology/product function in a large‑scale enterprise
- Experience of delivering multi‑format communications to varied audiences (Board, exec, extended leadership, people managers, general population, plus customers, partners, public)
- Excellent storytelling ability, with superb written and interpersonal expertise
- Passionate about Product and Tech, with solid understanding of the Product & Tech world (preferably with both consumer and B2B customers)
- Expert at stakeholder management at all levels, able to gain respect
- Flexible on travel
