Position: IT Leader - would suit recent manager REF 1184
IT Leader – would suit recent manager

Pension: 4% + Matched company contribution

Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays

Onsite role: 9:00 am to 5:30pm

Company-wide events: Twice a year (year-end in July and Christmas), and a company conference is held to deliver the business plan to staff

Company news: The new management structure brought in at the start of 2024 is promoting great company culture and future growth. There was a successful sales launch at North Eastern outlet last weekend and a future sales launch is planned at our Yorkshire outlet soon. We plan to build and sell 123 homes this year (year-end in June 2025), with year-on-year growth with a planned 245 homes being built and sold in 2025/26.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the organisation’s Azure Active Directory and Office 365 infrastructure.
  • Document and optimise existing systems and processes to identify organisational inefficiencies.
  • Support IT projects, working towards leading project management efforts in the future
  • Maintain IT equipment inventory and ensure timely updates to hardware and software.
  • Oversee backup systems, security measures, and anti-virus management.
  • Collaborate with third-party service providers when required.
  • Negotiate and maintain software & hardware agreements with IT partners and vendors
  • Setup and manage basic network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN setup for remote sites & 1 head office
  • Assist with and eventually manage the rollout of new software, systems, and tools.
  • Support company-wide training initiatives for new technology implementations.
  • Drone flying to survey our construction site (Training to be provided)
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to end users, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.

Skills:

  • Previous experience in an IT service desk or support environment.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN) and IT security.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive mindset with a desire to develop and grow within the role &
