Service Now HRSD Lead
We are seeking an experienced Service Now HRSD Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of HR Service Delivery solutions on the Service Now platform. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, HR teams, and IT to deliver scalable, high‑quality solutions while leveraging out‑of‑the‑box (OOB) Service Now capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and translate business requirements into technical solutions without impacting existing configurations.
- Technical Design: Create detailed technical designs aligned with business requirements using Service Now OOB features and best practices.
- Development & Customisation: Design, develop, and customise Service Now applications and modules, primarily within HRSD.
- Integrations: Build, maintain, and support integrations with enterprise systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Workflow & Automation: Design and optimise workflows, flows, and business rules to streamline HR processes.
- Maintenance & Support: Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting, health checks, upgrades, and patching.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for configurations, processes, and solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR, IT, and business teams to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Team Leadership: Guide HRSD operations and release teams, ensuring successful delivery of stories and timely closure of incidents and requests.
- 5+ years of hands‑on Service Now development experience with strong focus on the HRSD module
- Proven experience building and supporting complex integrations with HR/People systems such as Workday, People Soft, Oracle Applications
, or similar platforms - Strong ability to design solutions leveraging Service Now OOB capabilities and utilities
- In‑depth understanding of Service Now foundation data and HR processes that depend on it
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – Human Resources
