MD.Yourrolewilldrivetheevolutionofthe
HR function,strengthenorganisationalcapability,andensureculture,talent,andpeopleprocessesfullysupportambitiousgrowthplans.
ThisUKlogisticsbusinesscurrentlyhasa £400milliont/oandhas
1000employees.
Hybridworkingwillbeonoffer,3daysaweekintheoffice.
- Partnerwithseniormanagementtoalign
HRstrategywithoverallbusinessobjectives. - Leadworkforceplanning,skillsanalysis,andlong‑termorganisationaldevelopmentinitiatives.
- Identifycapabilitygapsanddevelopforward‑lookingpeopleplans.
- Oversee recruitment,onboarding,andretentionstrategiestoattractandretainhigh‑qualitytalent.
- Leadsuccessionplanning,careerdevelopmentpathways,andinternalmobilityprogrammes.
- Fosterapositive,inclusive,andhigh‑performance culture.
- Manageemployeerelations,conflict resolution,andgrievanceprocesses.
- Promoteopencommunicationandstrongemployeeengagement.
- Ensurefullcompliancewithemploymentlegislationandregulatoryrequirements.
- Overseepoliciesrelatingtohealth&safety,equality,diversity&inclusion,anddataprotection.
- Implementandrefineperformancemanagementframeworks.
- Supportmanagerswithgoal‑setting,appraisals,andcontinuousfeedbackprocesses.
- Driveacultureofaccountabilityanddevelopment.
- Designandmanagecompetitivereward,benefits,andincentiveprogrammes.
- Conductsalarybenchmarkingandensurefair,market‑alignedcompensationstructures.
- Leadthedesignanddeliveryoftrainingprogrammestoenhanceskillsandcapability.
- Identifyorganisationaltrainingneedsandevaluateprogrammeeffectiveness.
- Provide leadership,coaching,andmentorshiptothe
HRteam. - Buildacultureofcontinuousimprovementandprofessionalgrowth.
- Workcloselywithfinanceonbudgetingandworkforceplanning.
- Partnerwithoperationstosupportorganisationalchange.
- Collaboratewithmarketingonemployerbrandingandinternalcommunications.
- Developandimplementenvironmentalpoliciestominimiseorganisationalimpact.
- Applystructuredplanningtoolstodelivercontrolled,timelychangeinitiatives.
- Prepareandpresentmonthlyreportsforseniorleadershipon
HRperformance,workforceinsights,andstrategicrecommendations. - Usedataandmetricstoinformdecision‑makingandimprove
HR processes.
