Internal Recruitment Specialist – 6‑Month FTC
Maria Mallaband Care Group | Leeds Head Office
Maria Mallaband Care Group is looking for an Internal Recruitment Specialist to join our friendly team at our Leeds head office. If you enjoy building strong relationships, understanding what makes teams tick, and finding great people who genuinely make a difference, this could be a great fit for you.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our Management team and connect with Directors, Care Managers, Home Administrators and colleagues across head office. Your goal is to really understand the recruitment needs of each home in your region — and help us bring in the right people at the right time.
You’ll use a mix of recruitment approaches, from advertising and networking to headhunting and referrals, while also helping us build a strong internal talent pipeline.
Please note: this is a 6‑month fixed‑term contract, and experience in volume recruitment is essential.
What you’ll be doing- Acting as a brand ambassador for Maria Mallaband Care Group
- Supporting hiring managers with insights on the labour market and offering specialist recruitment guidance
- Building a strong understanding of our organisation, the care sector, and our culture
- Proactively headhunting and approaching potential candidates
- Using candidate databases and developing our own internal talent pool
- Reviewing applications, shortlisting candidates, and managing the early stages of the hiring process
- Briefing candidates on roles, responsibilities, salary and benefits
- Coordinating interviews with Directors and senior leaders
- Keeping candidates updated on their interview outcomes
- Taking on additional duties that fall within the scope and spirit of the role
Professional
- A genuine commitment to ongoing development
Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in a recruitment role
- Experience in the Health & Social Care sector is ideal, but we’re open to other backgrounds as long as you’re confident with volume recruitment
