We are currently recruiting for a HR Manager to join our Leeds office on a Fixed Term basis.

Responsibilities
  • Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders within the business.
  • Provide first line HR support, advice and coaching to designated client groups on the full life cycle of HR issues.
  • Manage the appraisal and salary review processes for client groups in conjunction with chiefs, directors and line management.
  • Proactively support the business in managing ER issues (performance, disciplinary and grievances) in accordance with Firm policy and employment law including, where necessary, managing dismissals.
  • Monitor absence issues and proactively manage as appropriate.
  • Support client groups with succession planning and talent management.
  • Review online exit interviews for trends and ensure thorough feedback is communicated to management as appropriate.
  • Drive forward initiatives to encourage employee engagement as appropriate.
  • Maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring that they continue to meet changing legislative and business requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with the wider HR team.
  • Lead and manage delivery of specific projects. Proactively identify ad hoc projects as necessary.
  • Escalate issues and seek guidance where appropriate.
Key Skills, Attributes And Experience
  • Proven experience working at the HR Manager level.
  • Experience of working in a professional services environment desirable.
  • Experience of building credibility and working effectively with senior internal stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law across the employee lifecycle.
  • Strong client service skills and resilient when dealing with demanding clients.
  • Collaborative and supportive working style. A team player.
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required. A flexible approach to work.
  • Excellent organisational skills. Able to demonstrate past experience of juggling multiple priorities and projects effectively.
  • Detail conscious.
  • CIPD qualified.
