Event Cleaner (Temporary)

Location: Royal Armouries, Leeds

Salary: £12.71 per hour (paid weekly)

Contract: Zero-hour contract, Temporary FTC 29.04.

Join our vibrant events team at the Royal Armouries this May! We’re looking for reliable, proactive individuals to support a series of large-scale events at one of Leeds’ most prestigious venues. If you’re energetic, proactive, and ready to get stuck in, this is a fantastic chance to gain hands‑on experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

• General event cleaning across public and back‑of‑house areas
• Litter picking throughout the venue
• Toilet cleaning and restocking
• Vacuuming and wiping down surfaces
• Maintaining high hygiene standards at all times
• Responding quickly to cleaning requests during busy periods

We offer a variety of shifts across our events, ranging between the hours of 6 am – 11 pm, giving you flexibility while earning extra income. Shifts can be long and physically demanding, but you’ll be part of a supportive, high‑energy team throughout!

Previous experience as a cleaner is beneficial but not essential. If you bring the right energy and attitude, we want you on our team!

You’ll be great for this role if you:

• Are 18 years or older (due to licensing requirements)
• Can remain calm under pressure, especially during busy periods
• Are confident and comfortable engaging with guests
• Have strong teamwork and problem‑solving skills
• Are reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic
• Have a positive and welcoming attitude
