Cardiac Physiologist (Bank)

Up to £45.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. The cardiology department at our Leeds Hospital currently has an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist / Cardiac Scientist with invasive experience to join us on a bank contract.

• BTEC ONC and HNC in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement and / or a BSc in Healthcare Science (Cardiology) / BSc in Clinical Physiology (Cardiac Physiology) or equivalent.
• Registered with the RCCP or AHCS as a Cardiac Physiologist or Clinical Scientist.
• Ideally accredited with SCST and BSE.
• Excellent communicator, flexible, motivated and a team player.

• Work in the cardiac catheter lab, supporting a range of interventional procedures including but not limited to diagnostic angiography (left and right heart studies), PCI with pressure wire analysis, PFO closures.
• Support with other non‑invasive cardiac diagnostics such as ambulatory ECG analysis, exercise tolerance testing and 12‑lead ECGs.
