We are looking for passionate General Practitioners (GP) to join our multi-disciplinary team at the Co-Located Service within St James Hospital.
The highly driven and competent post holder will be a clinician able to thrive in the urgent and emergency care environment and to really make a difference for one of the country's most in need populations.
Main duties of the jobWorking across our Urgent Care Services in Leeds, the GP will be an enthusiastic and forward thinking clinician who loves general practice and wants to provide professional and clinical care to ensure the safe, effective and compliant delivery of services to all patients who present at St James Hospital, as part of a team of autonomous Practitioners.
The post holder will carry out all the duties expected from a primary care general practitioner complying with the standards required by the GMC and RCGP, in line with appropriate national and/or local guidelines and the companies values. This is a varied clinical role within the management of various patient groups.
This is a permanent part-time contract 25.5 hours per week, to cover 2 days (including CPD time). The shift patterns available are Wednesday and Friday from 10 am - 10 pm. The full-time equivalent for us is 40 hours per week.

Job responsibilitiesOur Co-Located Services are based at St James University Hospital, part of Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. Our site operate on a 12 hour shifts daily, from 10am - 10pm, 7 days per week.
The post holder will carry out all the duties expected from a primary care general practitioner complying with the standards required by the GMC and RCGP, in line with appropriate national and/or local guidelines and the companies values. This is a varied clinical role within the management of various patient groups.

Skills and Abilities
