Support Worker, Healthcare Nursing

This is a full-time on-site role for a Support Worker located in Leeds. The Support Worker will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily activities, providing emotional support, and ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include helping clients with personal care, preparing meals, managing medications, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and promoting their independence through tailored support.

The role requires compassionate interaction and ensures that clients’ specific needs and preferences are met with dignity and respect.

• Skills in personal care assistance, safety management, and providing emotional support
• Strong communication and active listening skills to effectively interact with clients and their families
• Time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently
• Basic knowledge of health and safety compliance and medication management processes
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• Previous experience in a support or caregiving role is advantageous
• Relevant certifications, such as first aid and safeguarding training, are beneficial
• Empathy, patience, and a commitment to improving clients’ quality of life
