Harley Street area Salary: £40,000-£42,000 per annum (depending on experience) We are looking for a highly experienced medical secretary/PA to support a busy, traditional, paper based consultant in a private practice based in central London. This is a fully office-based position with significant responsibility for audio typing, billing and insurance administration and there will be a audio typing test as part of the interview process Essential experience:
Minimum 10 years' experience as a Medical Secretary / PA in private healthcare Strong private medical billing experience, including working with UK health insurers (authorisations, excesses, shortfalls) Fast and accurate audio typing using traditional Dictaphone equipment (mini tapes) Use of Midex

PRO Solid understanding of medical terminology, ideally within orthopaedics, spinal or pain medicine Working pattern:
Full-time, Monday to Friday 7 hours worked per day, paid as an 8-hour day Two fixed onsite shifts to cover clinic hours:
