Mencap is seeking passionate Female Outreach Support Workers to join our incredible team in Leeds. Applicants must be able to travel to Pudsey (LS28) and Cookridge (LS16). As an Outreach Support Worker, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a young woman with learning disabilities. You’ll be supporting her in the community, helping her access activities and providing emotional and practical support tailored to her unique needs.
WhatWe're Looking For
- A genuine passion for supporting others
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities
- Preferably holds up-to-date training in epilepsy and autism, completed within the last 3 years. Full training in both areas will be provided.
- Must be able to travel on public transport and walk distances to, from and between bus stops
- Must be able to swim

Shift Times:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Times may vary depending on the individual’s activities and support needs.
