Support Worker, Mental Health

As a rehabilitation support worker, you will be supporting 10+ people with an acquired brain injury who have already undergone intensive rehabilitation. Furthermore, you would need to assist clients with their rehabilitation goals and independent living skills.

• Minimum 2 professional care references that cover last 3 year*
• Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written
• Have the right to work in the UK and a National insurance number
• Have evidence of mandatory training certificates in date within the last 12 months (or willing to undergo training)
• Must have a clear Enhanced DBS *
• Must have an up to date CV
• Able to work in high demanding and fast paced environment
• Medication trained (Buccal Midazolam )
• Ability to work days or night shifts
• Commitment to professional development
• Abilities to monitor and record Vitals
• Challenging Behaviour training
• Experience working with brain injury

• Experience working in mental health
• Experience with clients with challenging behaviour
• Physically fit and able to undertake safe manual handling practices
• Understand the needs of adults with cognitive and physical impairment
