Key Responsibilities- Keep facilities clean to NHS standards
- Monitor and maintain stock
- Use cleaning equipment
- Work independently (lone work)
- Perform moving and handling tasks
- Use basic computer skills for competency and compliance training
Provide a vital role in maintaining a quality cleaning service to the Health Centre and adhering to NHS Cleaning Standards. Use approved working methods with equipment, cleaning materials and work procedures for the following:
- Sanitary areas, furniture, fixtures and fittings at high and low level.
- Maintain carpeting areas, hard flooring and upholstery.
- High standards of cleaning in clinical and office areas.
Previous cleaning experience desirable; however, full training will be given. Must be open, honest, and able to work using own initiative and within a team.
Good communication skills, ability to receive feedback and willingness to learn required.
Basic IT skills would be an advantage to complete competency and compliance training online.
