- Conduct complex assessments, including Community Care and Best Interest Assessments, developing innovative, person-centred solutions.
- Lead safeguarding investigations and participate in multi-agency procedures.
- Perform risk assessments and identify needs to promote independence and early intervention.
- Maintain effective relationships with service users, carers, and families, empowering decision-making.
- Contribute to new referral screening and manage ongoing cases with expert insights.
- Participate in court work, ensuring proper execution of court orders.
- Engage in developing services and practices to improve outcomes.
- Undertake Practice Educator Level 2 responsibilities and Continuous Professional Development.
- Join the AMHP rota if qualified and support office duties as required.
Experience:
- Extensive statutory social work experience.
- Strong planning, prioritisation, and case management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to negotiate and manage conflict professionally.
- Competence in chairing multi-agency meetings and supervising staff.
- Problem-solving and innovative thinking for service improvement.
- Relevant social work qualification (BSc, BA, MA, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
- HCPC registered with significant post‑qualification experience.
- Evidence of recent and relevant professional development.
