An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist with a passion forpelvic health to come and join the Urogynaecology Physiotherapy team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The post holder will manage a Urogynaecology Physiotherapy caseload and work collaboratively with the wider MDT, including midwifery services, to provide excellent patient care.

The successful candidate defaults as part of the existing Urogynaecology Physiotherapy teams at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. They will manage aspecialist clinical caseload including the management of Urogynaecology and Gynaecology patients.

The post holder will work in outpatients,inpatients and group session provision. You will have the opportunity to contribute toand support service development and work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary teams.

The post holder will be supported by Clinical Specialist Physiotherapists and an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner.

Wewelcome applications from experienced Band 6 Physiotherapists or Band 5

Physiotherapists who can demonstrate the enthusiasm and ability to work at aband 6 level in Pelvic Health.

We are seeking individuals who are team players and excellent communicators with a high degree of self motivation for continuing professional development and learning.

Itwould be desirable for candidates to have completed a postgraduate POGP (or equivalent) course in pelvic floor assessment and/or dysfunction, however this training can be provided whereратrequired for the successful candidate.

JOB PURPOSE

Toperform physio therapeutic assessment of patient with diverse presentations and complex physical gynaecological conditions, to provide a diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme.

Tobe responsible for their own continuing professional and personal development. This role will support the implementation of pelvic health services.

JOB DIMENSIONS

Tohold responsibility for own case load and be responsible for a defined areaof the service or a particular показатель, working without direct supervision. Access to advice and support from a senior physiotherapist is available if required, clinical work is not routinely evaluated.

To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner within this specialist field.
