This role is part of our brand-new residential service,
Fernside House in Armley, Leeds.
Location: Fernside House, Armley, Leeds
Hours: 38.5 hours per week
Salary: £13.45 per hour (annual £26,926), hourly overtime paid at £14.95
Shift Pattern: 07:45am – 07:45pm, two‑week rolling rota:
- Week 1:
Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun - Week 2:
Wed, Thu, Fri
- Annual leave starts at the statutory minimum, with extra days rewarded after 2 and 5 years of service.
- Refer‑a‑Friend scheme – earn up to £500 per referral.
- Health Cash Plan covering dental, optical, virtual GP, counseling, and discounted gym membership.
- Support individuals on their journey to recovery through person‑centred care in a residential setting.
- Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships with residents.
- Provide emotional and practical support to residents.
- Promote engagement in meaningful activities and encourage social inclusion.
- Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and the community.
- Promote independence and self‑confidence, helping residents regain control over their lives.
- Experience with in a mental health or residential setting.
- Ability to build rapport with residents and team members.
- Understanding of the importance of person‑centred quality care.
