Care Team Leader – Care Tech – Leeds
We are looking for a dedicated and caring professional to lead a team of care workers delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care to adults with complex needs in Leeds. This is a full‑time permanent position (37.5 hours per week) with a competitive salary of £13.36 per hour and a strong benefits package.

About Care Tech
Care Tech Community Services was established in 1993 and now operates 250 services across the UK. We support people with autism, learning disabilities, mental health issues and neurological conditions to live independently at home or in residential care. We are a Disability Confident Leader and all staff are required to pass DBS checks.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and inspire a care team to provide excellent, person‑centred quality care.
- Manage shifts, schedule staff and handle on‑the‑spot issues.
- Support the registered manager with reporting, supervision and quality assurance.
- Communicate effectively with families, service users and colleagues.
- Promote a positive and respectful working environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a care environment.
- Experience leading a team by example, promoting a positive and respectful working environment.
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions.
- Understanding of CQC regulations and company policies.
- Passionate about motivating the team to provide excellent, person‑centred quality care.
- Experience in shift management, scheduling and addressing issues that arise.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
- Innovative and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Confidence to offer registered manager support.
- Compassionate, caring and enthusiastic.
- Good IT skills with a willingness to learn more.
- Flexibility to work across all shifts.
