Financial Accountant; Equine Industry

Position: Financial Accountant (Equine Industry)
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT – EQUINE/HORSE BREEDERS - FT OR PT ROLE - £50-60K Your New Company A unique opportunity to join a well-renowned, international horse breeding company as an Accountant. This role will report directly into the FD, which is based in Central London, and can be offered on a full-time or part-time (3 days) basis . This role needs an experienced accountant who has either got industry experience within the Equine or Horse Racing industry, or has a passion and knowledge of the sector.

Your New Role Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll be responsible for:
Supporting the day-to-day finance operations Financial & management reporting Producing the P&L for multiple regions Oversee AP/AR Purchase and sales ledgers, invoicing, bank reconciliations, payroll journals & expenses Assist with year-end accounts preparation Monthly stock valuations VAT Finance process improvement Ad hoc projects What You'll Need to Succeed You must either come from the Equine / Horse Breeding / Horse Racing sector OR have a passion for and knowledge of the industry.

Proven accounting experience is needed for this role, ideally ACCA/CIMA/ACA or QBE.
