Finance Manager

MULTI-ACADEMY TRUST – INTERIM FINANCE MANAGER – SALARY UP TO £60K - 6M FTC - SALFORD Your new company Large, values-driven Multi-academy Trust serving diverse communities across the North of England. Your new role As an experienced Finance Manager, you will be reporting to the Finance Director and taking ownership of the financial support of the school, including but not limited to, production of monthly management accounts, monthly forecasting and bank / balance sheet reconciliations.

Please note this role is a 6-MONTH FTC and will be based full-time onsite, therefore access to a car and a full UK driving licence would be useful. Successful applicants will also require an Enhanced DBS check. What you'll need to succeed You will be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA preferred) or an exceptional QBE. Extensive experience within an Education or MAT environment is essential as you will be working closely with the Headteacher on a daily basis.

Production of monthly management account packs and monthly re-forecasting. Reconciliations and VAT submissions. Proven history of successfully leading small finance teams.

Experience of Procurement support will be useful in this role. You will be confident and forward-facing, with the ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance colleagues. You will have a disciplined approach to workload and are able to adapt quickly in a new environment.
