Known for its collaborative culture and forward-thinking approach, it continues to evolve in a fast-paced, customer-centric market. Your new role As a Financial Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and posting month-end revenue and banking journals, working closely with site managers to validate reporting data and resolve discrepancies. Performing monthly reconciliations for the main cash bank account and other cash accounts, identifying and resolving any issues promptly. Managing a detailed electronic register of stock, coordinating with operations to record additions and disposals, posting depreciation, and reconciling the register with monthly accounts.
Maintain detailed asset registers across their sites. Maintaining and reconciling various balance sheet accounts and control accounts, including posting relevant month-end journals. Post depreciation journals to the general ledger and reconcile the register to the monthly accounts. Supporting financial reporting processes. Handling various ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed to support the finance team. What you'll need to succeed To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
Part-qualified accountant, ideally an active studier with the goal of becoming fully qualified. A solid foundation in technical accounting, including a strong grasp of debits, credits, and control accounts. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a team and communicate confidently with non-finance colleagues in a dynamic operational environment.
A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities.
