FS Tax Manager

I am partnering with a global professional services firm that is looking to appoint an FS Tax Manager to join its growing Financial Services Tax practice, based in either Leeds or Manchester. This role offers the opportunity to work with a high quality portfolio of clients within banking, insurance, asset management, and fintech, while contributing to the development of a market leading regional FS tax team.

• Manage a portfolio of financial services clients, delivering high quality corporation tax compliance and advisory work.
• Review tax computations and returns prepared by the team and ensure technical accuracy and efficiency.
• Support senior team members on a range of advisory projects including international tax, regulatory change, operational tax matters, restructurings, and transactions.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and providing timely, commercial tax advice.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor junior team members, contributing to their ongoing development.
• Assist with business development activities including proposals, tenders, and identifying opportunities within the existing client base.
• Collaborate with other service lines to deliver integrated solutions to financial services clients across the region.

• ACA or CTA qualified, or equivalent, with solid experience in corporate tax, ideally within the financial services sector.
• Strong technical background in UK corporation tax with an interest in FS specific issues.
• Confident managing your own portfolio while balancing multiple deadlines.
• Clear communicator, able to explain technical concepts in a practical and client friendly way.
• Proactive and commercially minded with an interest in contributing to growth within the Leeds or Manchester offices.
