Position: Assistant Accountant (Contract)
Assistant Accountant - Leeds I £26,000 to £30,000 - Hybrid Working after training period - plus full study support

The Job

Manage and reconcile the bank accounts for all UK entities
Reconcile stock accounts for all UK divisions and investigate any discrepancies
Monthly accruals and prepayments
Post and reconcile all recharges for the business
Manage the logistics spend
Maintain Capex forms
Balance sheet reconciliations
Investigate and manage balance sheet differences
Prepare Audit and SOX evidence
Cashier cover
Ad hoc and project work as required

The successful candidate will:

Be studying towards a qualification – CIMA or ACCA or AAT and looking to take the next steps
Technically adept
Commercially astute
Driven to improve processes and improved ways of working
Driven and motivated
Strong Excel skills
Strong communication skills – able to build relationships and work collaboratively
Organised and able to work accurately
Professional and engaging
