Accountant; Controlling

About the role:

The Controlling function provides financial analysis and decision‑making support. The Accountant (Controlling) role will work alongside and provide support to the Business Controllers.

• Financial analysis, KPIs, monitoring and reporting.
• Financial support and interpretation to the business.
• Support and work alongside non‑financial management.
• Strategic and decision‑making models. Implementation of strategies.
• Integration and reporting of business acquisitions.
• Business procedures, reporting compliance, controls, and risk assessments.
• Control and preparation of budgets, forecasts and monthly flashes.
• Review and analyse working capital to achieve optimisation.
• Ensure compliance to group Rules of Procedures.
• Evaluation and appraisal of capex and contract approval requests.

Education:

• Part qualified Accounting Qualification.

Experience/knowledge:

• Experience of working on SAP systems (Essential).
• Experience of working within Industry. Chemical Industry experience preferred but not essential.
• Excellent analytical skills & the ability to communicate across business functions.
• Strong knowledge of O365 applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Data management experience preferable.
