Accountant, Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting

A Leeds-based professional services firm is looking to hire a part-qualified accountant into its growing finance team.

This is a broad role suited to someone studying ACCA or ACA who wants exposure beyond routine processing. The team works closely with clients and internal stakeholders, so the role blends core accounting delivery with analysis and commercial support.

You’ll support the delivery of month-end reporting and financial insight across a portfolio of clients.

• Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting commentary
• Balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Supporting statutory accounts preparation and audit queries
• Producing financial analysis to support decision-making
• Reviewing transactional data and resolving discrepancies
• Supporting improvements to reporting processes and systems

• Part-qualified ACCA / ACA
• 2–4 years’ experience in practice or a professional services environment (preferred)
• Strong grounding in management accounts and reconciliations
• Comfortable working with Excel and accounting systems

• Exposure to a wide range of clients and sectors
• Clear development path as you qualify
