Finance Analyst

Our client is a leading SME with a prominent brand and a strong market presence, based in Leeds. Due to continued business growth and a commitment to innovation, they're looking for a Finance Analyst to join their journey of finance team modernisation.

The Opportunity:

As a Finance Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting core finance operations and have the chance to shape how things are done. You'll be hands-on with month-end duties and also drive improvements through tech, analysis, and process automation. What you'll be doing:
Supporting monthly financial processes and reporting alongside the wider finance team Using advanced Excel skills-and ideally your knowledge of AI tools-to streamline and enhance finance processes, reporting, and data integrity Identifying ways to automate repetitive tasks and provide meaningful, actionable insights for leadership Collaborating across business functions to drive continuous improvement within the finance function Contributing to a culture of innovation as the company continues to grow

What we're looking for:

Strong Excel capability with genuine enthusiasm for efficiency, data, and process improvement; exposure to or interest in AI tools and automation is a plus Solid grounding in core finance (e.g., supporting month end, posting journals, reconciling accounts)
