Technical Delivery Lead
Do you have the skills needed to lead the technical delivery on a broad range of pension data and calculation projects? We are looking for a driven individual to join our Data Solutions Team within Aon’s UK Retirement business. This team brings together specialists from across our business to deliver project work for clients in areas such as data cleanse, benefit rectification, GMP rectification and system implementation.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from any of our UK offices.

What The Day Will Look Like- Work out what needs to be done in technical and complex pension transformation projects, and make it happen.
- Help devise strategies for carrying out the required pension data or calculation work within the agreed timescales, and work through junior colleagues to deliver.
- Manage the expectation of senior stakeholders.
- Carry out and/or review bespoke pension data modelling work, ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements.
- Develop others in the team.
- Lead or input into process improvement activities.
As a Technical Delivery Lead you will interact with a wide range of colleagues and teams within the UK Retirement business. Your delivery will directly contribute to the ‘Aon Story’ and you will benefit from a strong network of colleagues for support and rapid individual development. New and interesting challenges will arise through changes in pensions legislation and industry initiatives.
Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success- Understanding of UK pension schemes with knowledge of how individual member calculations are performed, and experience delivering bulk pension data and/or calculation projects.
- Experience in leading or significantly influencing pension transformation projects such as GMP Rectification/Reconciliation, GMP Equalisation, Risk Settlement Data Cleanse, Benefit Remediation projects.
- Proficiency in building, amending and reviewing Excel calculation models.
- Ability to identify project risks/issues and work with internal stakeholders to mitigate.
- Proactive and self‑motivated, with a desire to drive things independently.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to work with various teams and senior stakeholders.
