You will work closely with the Senior Dealer, helping to execute transactions efficiently, support investment decisions through robust analysis, and maintain a high standard of professionalism in dealings with market counter parties.
Key Responsibilities Investment & Market Execution Support the management of the investment portfolio, including IG & HY credits, convertible bonds, and securitised products. Price and execute fixed-income transactions including corporate bonds, convertible bonds, interest-rate swaps, and related instruments. Deal in credit markets to obtain best execution within approved risk parameters. Credit & Market Analysis Conduct fundamental and technical credit analysis. Prepare credit notes and supporting documentation for internal approvals.
Monitor market developments and evaluate changing risk–reward dynamics. Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting Maintain MIS for tracking positions, exposures, and portfolio performance. Communicate significant developments promptly to senior management and relevant teams. Governance & Process Enhancement Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures. Contribute to developing stronger processes for risk monitoring and reporting. Undertake project-based assignments as directed by the Supervisor.
Skills & Experience Required Degree in finance or a related professional qualification. Minimum 2 years’ experience in fixed-income trading. Strong background in credit analysis , ideally gained on a trading desk. Familiarity with Indian credits is highly desirable. Solid understanding of credit pricing, market technicals, and fixed-income products. Demonstrated experience in bonds trading. Strong communication skills, personal credibility, and confidence in dealing with market counter parties.
