Accounts Senior

Position: Accounts Senior (Permanent)
We’re working with a well-established, multi-office national accountancy firm who are looking to recruit an Accounts Senior into their Leeds office due to continued growth.

This is a varied, client-facing role offering exposure to a broad SME client base and the chance to work within a supportive, modern firm that genuinely invests in its people.

The role will include:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

Bookkeeping and VAT returns for a portfolio of clients

Preparation of management accounts

Filing corporation tax returns

Direct client contact and day-to-day relationship management

Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate

What they’re looking for:

Practice experience in accounts production

AAT qualified, qualified (ACA / ACCA), or qualified by experience

Confident handling a range of SME clients

Good working knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts

Strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach
