The Opportunity:What You’ll Be Doing
As Personal Tax Manager you’ll:
- Liaise directly with private clients and internal teams to deliver proactive tax advisory services
- Lead new client meetings focused on tax planning and advisory opportunities
- Oversee and review service line projects supporting and developing Tax Seniors and Trainees
- Provide expert guidance on complex client matters including agricultural tax and trusts (desirable)
- Monitor workflow, manage billing and ensure high‑quality project delivery
- Respond to ad hoc queries from across the business, building trusted relationships
Essential requirements:
- CTA qualified (or equivalent)
- Minimum 4 years UK practice experience with a strong personal tax advisory background
- Proven experience leading advisory projects and managing client relationships
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Track record of managing, supporting or mentoring junior tax professionals
- Strong teamwork and ability to collaborate across multiple offices
Desirable:
- Knowledge of agricultural tax and trust matters
