Assistant Manager – Financial Due Diligence

This highly reputable advisory firm has an excellent reputation across the country and region for advising and performing due diligence on exceptional corporate finance transactions. The Transaction Services team have established themselves as a leading provider of financial due diligence services and continue to enjoy considerable growth in market share. Highly active in the region their success has created a key opening for an assistant manager.

Supporting the partners the role encompasses the provision of financial due diligence to corporate, privately owned and private equity backed businesses. This covers the whole range of corporate finance transactions including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, MBO’s, MBI’s, and major fund raising. A qualified accountant is required, most likely ACA, CA or ACCA (ICAEW or ICAS) with extensive client facing experience, most likely within audit or due diligence.

Other service lines such as restructuring or M&A would also be appropriate. A sound commercial understanding beyond the financials is highly desirable, as are analytical and report writing skills. It is essential that you have trained with a quality firm of accountants, although previous due diligence experience is not essential.

The role forms part of a great team who have developed an excellent working environment and perform at a very high level. It is collegiate with everyone contributing to business development and pitches and indeed, completion of the reports.
