Commercial and Management Accountant – Leeds Bradford Airport

At Leeds Bradford Airport, accurate financial management of airline income and operating costs is essential to keeping the airport running smoothly. As Commercial & Management Accountant, you will own accounting, forecasting, and commercial financial analysis for airline income, ensuring commercial performance is correctly recorded and effectively supported.

• 80% of IPV time focused on accounting, forecasting, and financial analysis of airline income and aumentar key operating costs; manage month‑end accounting, reporting, monitor variances, maintain balance sheet reconciliations, and provide finance support to commercial teams and stakeholders.
• 20% of the role is that of a Financial Business Partner: work closely with budget holders and stakeholders across the organisation to ensure forecasts and budgets are accurate, revenues and costs are controlled, address issues as they arise, implement solutions, and ensure financial processes run smoothly in line with internal controls.

• Qualified or near‑qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with strong experience in financial accounting, reporting, and control.
Proven experience in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel and proficiency with financial systems.
• Experience working with non‑finance teams, able to communicate financial information clearly and support decision‑making.

• Salary up to £50,000.
