Interim Group FC

This Leeds based business is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team on an interim basis. The primary purpose of the role is to support the business through the month end close, while also leading and developing a finance team. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvements to streamline and accelerate month end processes, and for delivering accurate cash flow forecasting.

Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will help to manage cash outflows and oversee the administration of foreign exchange contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

Management Accounting:
Preparation of management accounts for review, including (but not limited to):
Sales and margin reporting Overhead analysis and review Accruals and prepayments Intercompany loan reconciliations Balance sheet reconciliations and valuations Stock provisions and reconciliations Board pack preparation VAT & Compliance:
Preparation of VAT returns for the UK, Germany, France and Spain Reconciliation of all VAT returns to the trial balance Preparation and submission of Intrastat returns Additional Responsibilities:
Provide financial input and support to the wider business Assist with budget and forecast preparation Support the year end audit process Fixed asset accounting and management P&L analysis to support corporation tax returns Day to day management of the finance team Conduct one to one meetings and performance appraisals Lead the ongoing development and progression of the finance team This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a business experiencing a period of significant growth.
