Our client, an established bank, is looking to recruit a SAS Data Analyst within their Leeds or London office. The successful candidate is likely to have a strong academic and analytical background as well as good stakeholder management skills. This is an excellent opportunity to build your career within financial services, and to develop your technical skills including SAS and other tools such as SQL, Alteryx, and SAP Business Objects.

Some of the Key Responsibilities of the role would include:

• Ownership and management of a range of data reporting and analytics projects using SAS.
• Develop high quality credit risk related MI and insight to Credit management and other major stakeholders to support wider business strategy.
• Building relationships with stakeholders, business partners, and credit management teams

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

• Educated to degree standard (or equivalent) in a numerate subject with knowledge of statistical and analytical techniques.
• Experience of SAS is required.
• Good level of IT skills (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
• Confident solving problems in an analytical manner.
