What will your days look like?No two days are the same here. You’ll have the freedom to manage your own portfolio and the support of a collaborative, down‑to‑earth team. Your week might include:
- Leading audits for a wide variety of clients - from owner‑managed businesses and groups to UK subsidiaries of international groups, and academies.
- Owning audit planning - scoping engagements, assessing risk, setting materiality and designing testing strategies.
- Attending and leading completion meetings, presenting clear findings and practical recommendations.
- Reviewing work prepared by trainees/assistants and coaching them to develop.
- Delivering non‑audit assignments, including preparation of statutory accounts and corporation tax computations.
- Getting involved in corporate finance and due diligence projects when they arise.
- Rolling up your sleeves for ad‑hoc projects that add value for clients and colleagues.
This is a role where you’ll be trusted to get on with things, encouraged to share your ideas, and supported to develop into the professional you want to be.
Who we’re looking forYou will be ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to qualification, with strong experience in a practice environment. Beyond the letters, you’re someone who loves the buzz of client work and thrives in a fast‑paced, professional setting.
You will also bring:
- Excellent client service and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong technical judgement - applying standards and theory to reach logical, well‑documented conclusions.
- Precision and calm under pressure - able to meet deadlines without losing the detail.
- A collaborative, people‑first approach - supporting your team and leading by example.
- Clear communication - translating complex issues into simple, practical advice.
