Pricing Manager

Harcourt Matthews is seeking a Pricing Manager for our global Legal Professional Services group. This role is based in Leeds, offering a hybrid working model (3 days a week in the office)

• Advise partners on pricing decisions - Acts as a trusted pricing adviser to partners and practice group leaders to optimise commercial outcomes.
• Develop pricing strategies and plans - Designs and implements pricing strategies, including rate agreements and alternative fee arrangements.
• Support RFPs and client pitches - Prepares financial and pricing input for proposals in collaboration with bid and business services teams.
• Analyse financial and pricing data - Performs modelling, scenario analysis and post‑matter reviews to improve decision‑making.
• Lead pricing projects and training - Contributes to firm‑wide pricing initiatives, policy development, and delivery of commercial training.

• Proven legal pricing expertise - Demonstrates significant pricing experience, ideally within law firms or professional services.
• Commercially focused and results driven - Applies strong commercial judgement to enhance profitability and client value.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills - Builds trusted relationships and influences senior stakeholders effectively.
• Clear communication and presentation skills - Explains complex financial information confidently to diverse audiences.
• Analytical, organised and detail oriented - Exhibits strong analytical skills, prioritisation and ability to manage multiple projects.
