Corporate Tax Senior Manager/Associate Director

BDO is a leading accountancy and business advisory firm. We are looking for a senior corporate tax professional to lead compliance and advisory services for large and complex corporates with international footprints and private equity‑backed portfolio businesses.

• Own the relationships on a portfolio of clients and deliver their tax compliance and advisory services; regular involvement with tax planning and complex tax matters on the portfolio or on one‑off projects.
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and expertise.
• Seek solutions to complex challenges with a quality mindset.
• Lead large‑scale or complex projects within your area of expertise.
• Respond quickly to, as well as anticipate, client requests/needs, keep clients informed of progress in all aspects of the service provided, and maintain regular contact with clients.
• Keep the relevant partner informed about any new business opportunities arising on existing and new clients.
• Develop and maintain your own network of contacts internally and externally to support business growth.
• Be responsible for coaching and developing junior members of staff.
• Actively pursue and encourage knowledge sharing, consulting experts and specialists when needed.

• In‑depth, up‑to‑date knowledge of taxation relevant to your portfolio of clients and the ability to handle complex tax issues.
• Project and staff management experience.
• Ability to manage a substantial client portfolio profitably while actively seeking opportunities to sell new services to existing clients.
• Experience dealing with client senior management.
• CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent.
• Demonstrable experience in a senior manager role in practice.
